Think of the children!

It will reduce street racing in California

It would suck for all the rest of the people who don’t live in California

See I have to turn mine off just to not get stuck....

What? Did you need your wheels to spin or something?

Me: What traction control?

Same here. After I pulled out of a side road a little on the late side one time, in my head I knew if I gave it a little heavy right foot and spun the wheels, I’d get right out and across the road in time, especially once my front wheels hit the main road and got out of the slush pile. Traction control said NO and I barely crawled out of the slush pile in time to get across the road before the oncoming car. Of COURSE I should have left more room. But without traction control on I wouldn’t have been bogged down like that.
*uses this single instance of bad judgment to justify turning off TC every time it’s slippery*

I used to have that privilege. I love my Galant for not having traction control. I could hoon any time I wanted

I’ve been in that situation before. Almost exactly

As much as I like my old F150, it’s nice to be in something newer and more refined for daily duties. But even my Matrix doesn’t have traction control, just ABS.

Thats generally how I go places, yes. Gotta love a lowered NC on 3 year old DWS 06's in Chicago....

My wife’s Fit doesn’t either and it a 2010! I was very happy to find that out

Eh, I prefer to drive by throttle, traction control hinders that.
It may be great for the general population, but it’s an extreme PITA for people who actually know how to handle their vehicles.

Exactly. When I’m driving especially on the snow, I’m always predicting what my car is going to be doing. But when that is interrupted by break vectoring, or loosing throttle control, it’s not just annoying it can be down right scary

Downright dangerous in many cases.
